Plaque and tartar deposits on the surface of your teeth over time can result in gum disease, and poor oral health.
During dental cleaning, plaque and tartar deposits are removed, and the teeth are polished. Following polishing and removal of stains, flossing is completed, and fluoride is applied in order to strengthen teeth. For children, we also recommend dental sealants for added protection.
This appointment is also used to educate our patients on how you can take the initiative in restoring your optimal oral health.
